Boutique Workplace Interior Design, Belgium
CLIENT: private headquarters, belgium
Tucked away in a Belgium countryside, we breathed new life into a 1980s modernist headquarters designed by Belgian Architect Sir Philippe Samyn, transforming the interior into a refined yet inviting headquarters which has open gallery and workspaces.
This thoughtful refurbishment introduces additional smaller 10 person meeting rooms, 14 person boardroom on the Ground floor, private and semi private lounge spaces, refurbished in-house gym with additional shower facilities, an updated cafeteria that has dining, relaxation and reading zones. Executive floor has been refurbished into modern, elegant space to accommodate executive lounge space, dining and the larger 16 person boardroom table.
This office fit-out not only upgraded the functionality of the workplace but created a strong visual identity — showing how thoughtful office interior design can support both culture and performance. Inspired by the serene landscape that envelops the building, the design harmoniously merges interior and exterior, bringing the rhythms of nature indoors.

This workplace interior design project transformed a stark, uninspiring office into a sophisticated boardroom and a welcoming visitor lounge — carefully tailored to enhance productivity, collaboration, and client experience.
The adjacent client lounge was designed to feel just as intentional — a stylish yet comfortable space for guests to relax, with layered lighting, locally sourced vintage, chairs reupholstered in tactile materials – olive green horse hide and bespoke sofa in belgium linen and natural boucle upholstery to reflect the company’s brand and values.
The boardroom is now the centrepiece of the office redesign: a custom-built walnut table anchors the room, equipped with cutting-edge AV technology and integrated charging points — perfect for modern business meetings and seamless presentations.
Ergonomic meeting chairs surround the table, offering comfort and support without compromising on style. Large windows overlook the lush, tree-filled landscape, creating a unique “meeting in the woods” atmosphere that sets this office environment apart.
Drawing from the autumnal colours of the landscape beyond — rich ochres, rust tones, and earthy greens — we brought a sense of biophilic design into the heart of this commercial interior. These natural shades create a calm, grounded atmosphere that instantly elevates the client and guest experience.
This office interior design project is a perfect example of how thoughtful workplace design can completely reshape the way a team experiences their environment. What was once a stark, disconnected space has been transformed into a light-filled, inviting series of offices that now feel more like curated home workspaces than traditional corporate settings.
Our goal was to enhance both function and comfort — improving visibility across offices, maximising natural light, and creating a sense of openness and calm throughout. Each office was fitted with custom-designed open and closed joinery, featuring integrated lighting and a discreet built-in coat closet to keep the space tidy and refined.
At the heart of the workspace design is a bespoke sit-stand desk system, developed in collaboration with Knoll — combining ergonomic flexibility with a clean, architectural aesthetic. To promote relaxed productivity and a more human-centred workplace layout, each office includes a lounge area featuring a custom two-seater sofa upholstered in a durable, natural linen blend, alongside a tailored mid-height coffee table designed to double as an informal worktop.
''A good design is like a natural landscape, everything comes at the right place and it could not have been interpreted in a better way. It takes a lot of details to reach the same level of perfection as nature does. It also take a lot of listening from the designer and the ability to go into the client mind and habbit. A brilliant designer does not create space for himself or for magazine, the creation become a part of the client surrounding as if it has always been the case. Olivia has the humanity and listening skill to create such piece of design. She goes deep in details to reach the finest design. Above all construction is all about mankind, Olivia with her positive attitude finds solutions, not problems.''
